April 28, Fourth Sunday of Easter -- 9:00 Service. The first reading is Acts 4:5-12. The Psalm is 22. The second reading is 1 John 4:4-21. The gospel reading is John 15:1-8
"Abide in Jesus," is the sermon title for this coming Sunday. The sermon is based on John 15:1-8
Emphasis points;
1. To abide in Jesus is to believe in Him, trust Him and serve Him.
2. We are called to bear fruit.
3. Branches that do not bear fruit are pruned.
4. God is glorified when we bear fruit and carry out our ministry as faithful disciples.
In Study Class we will continue to study the teachings and practices of The Roman Catholic Church.
This week our focus will be the Papacy.
